The History of the 13th Infantry Regiment

The formation of the Regiment came from a group of friends that met in-game (between 2002 and 2004) whilst playing together in one of the very first Allied squads 'The 11th Hussars'.  And in early 2005, this small group of renegades branched out and formed a new detachment called "The Queens Royal Regiment" (QRR), with an ethos centred on a fun gaming environment for all members. However, despite a successful period of international growth; the QRR was disbanded in 2006, with former members enjoying tours of duty in the High Command, Training Platoon, and Game Managers.  

On the 19th May 2007; Dave, Frikshun, Macalex, Poker and Sixtoes (who were all members of the QRR) found themselves under heavy fire whilst defending a field base just outside of Antwerp, and finding it difficult to communicate effectively, mutually decided to form the Regiment after successfully repelling the swathes of Axis attackers. 

The Regiment joined the Allied High Command OrBat in September 2007, and became the first squad affiliated to the newly formed 2 Paratroop Brigade, British Expeditionary Forces. This then was followed by a vote on where our home barracks would be housed, with the majority calling for Willemstad castle (where debauchery can be found in every corner).

Regularly recognised for outstanding performance in battle, the Regiment has rightly become one of the most respected squads in the game and is genuinely feared by Axis forces.

A proud and pivotal part of the Allied War Machine, we ensure strong and continuous representation within the Allied High Command. The honour of Bulldog reaching Commander-in-Chief, Allied Forces in 2011 is a significant milestone within the Regimental history, replicated by Toxaway in late 2017.
